Chocolate Maven
So how did I become a chocolate maven? Well, I was wondering when you were going to ask! It all started several years ago on a winter weekend trip
to Hershey, PA. This was no ordinary visit to the land of chocolate – this was during Chocolate Covered February. You see, February is very special in Hershey and everything goes into a chocolate overload for this
month. There are chocolate themed lectures, book discussions, chocolate spa treatments, and naturally every type of chocolate dessert you can imagine.
And during this February visit, I attended a chocolate tasting. I was fascinated by the experience. We’ve all eaten chocolate, but I came to
understand we had never really “tasted” it properly. During the next hour I absorbed as much as I could, wrote many notes to myself, and came away knowing for sure that one day I would present my own chocolate
tasting.
Since then, I have spent countless hours researching and evaluating (eating, tasting) various chocolates so I could improve my presentations. If
